Sports Performance Training Program

NYO Introduces ATL Performance Training powered by Titus Sports Academy

Benefits of our training program:

Our Speed-Strength Training is designed to unleash an athlete’s full potential and enhance their physiological capacity. With a balanced approach of assessment, evaluation, and planning, we will ensure that our athletes from any sport can improve their performance. The diverse array of certifications ensures that our staff is equipped with the latest knowledge and techniques to provide top-tier training and support. We are committed to fostering long-term athletic readiness, resilience, and peak performance for all our clients.

  • Ages: 10 -18
  • Location: NYO Gym
  • Sessions: 8
  • Cost: $175
  • Start Date: July 15th
  • End Date: August 8th

*Players will have the option to choose 2 days out of the week.

Primary Program Coaches:

Kayla Cato

Kayla Cato is a former professional softball player who has seamlessly transitioned into a dedicated Certified Personal Trainer and full-time player development softball instructor. Leveraging her rich background in sports, Kayla has cultivated a deep passion for athletic training, driven by her comprehensive understanding of fitness, teamwork, dedication, and the importance of consistency and "trusting the process."

As a former pro athlete, Kayla brings a unique perspective to her training methods, emphasizing the importance of mental resilience with her motto, "The mind limits the body." Known for her confidence and compassion, she instills these values in all her athletes, fostering an environment where they can thrive.

Currently based in the Metro Atlanta area, Kayla operates as a private personal trainer, specializing in building a solid foundation of strength, teaching proper technique, and minimizing the risk of injury. Her training methods include strength training, circuit training, isometrics, bodyweight exercises, and high-intensity interval training. Kayla holds industry certifications from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and is also a certified Nutritionist and CPR/AED certified, ensuring a comprehensive approach to health and fitness.

David Batka

David Batka is the founder of Titus Atlanta and a seasoned trainer with a passion for developing young athletes. Since 2008, he has been dedicated to training young athletes at the NYO location, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.

David holds multiple industry certifications, including those from the National Speed and Explosion Association (NASE), United States Track and Field (USATF), United States Weightlifting (USAW), and the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). His diverse qualifications enable him to employ a broad range of techniques and methodologies in his training.
In addition to his work with young athletes, David has collaborated with US Special Forces and professional athletes, focusing on deploying advanced technology and techniques to achieve long-term readiness, resilience, and optimized performance.

A resident of Chastain Park since 2002, David is deeply embedded in his community. His two children have also grown up participating in activities at NYO, further cementing his connection to the area. David's commitment to excellence and his comprehensive approach to training make him a highly respected figure in the athletic community.
