ATL Patriots Summer Tryout '26-'27

ATL Patriots Fastpitch Softball is excited to welcome new and returning players for the 2026–2027 travel season! Our program focuses on competitive development, high-level instruction, and creating an environment where athletes can grow on and off the field. We are looking for dedicated athletes and families who are ready to compete, develop, and represent the ATL Patriots culture.

  • Professional and collegiate-level coaching staff
  • Year-round player development opportunities
  • Indoor training access at the NYO Dowis Building
  • Weekly skill development and team practices
  • Competitive local and regional tournament schedule
  • Integration of player development technology including Blast Motion and Rapsodo
  • Strong emphasis on fundamentals, softball IQ, athletic development, and team culture

Season Overview:
Fall: Weekly skill sessions and team practices begin in September. Teams will participate in very few fall tournaments while accommodating athletes participating in school softball and other sports.
Winter: Indoor practices and player development clinics will take place throughout the winter months with continued skill progression and strength/speed development opportunities.
Spring: All ATL Patriots players are expected to participate in NYO Spring Rec Softball. Teams will practice weekly and compete in select Saturday tournaments.
Summer: Summer is our primary competitive season. Teams will practice 2–3 times per week and compete in local and regional tournaments beginning in May through June.

Tryout Expectations:
ATL Patriots is a competitive travel softball program with elevated expectations regarding attendance, communication, effort, and commitment. Families should be prepared for a higher level of responsibility than recreational softball programs.

Tryout Information:
  • Players should arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in
  • Full softball attire and equipment are required
  • Pitchers and catchers should be prepared for position-specific evaluations

June 24th: Early Tryouts - 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

July 19th: Official Tryout Day 1
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (12U)
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Pitchers & Catchers)
2:30 PM – 4:00 PM (14U & 16U)

August 2nd: Make-Up Tryout Day 11:00 AM
